This has connotations of how beautiful and flawless Meghan looks and how she looks confident. This challenges stereotypes as it focuses directly on men and how it attracts them with Meghan. The way Meghan is dressed is in a sexual way and the position she is posing in suggests that she is slim, which reinforces stereotype as she is showing that women are only attractive when they are slim. This supports stereotype as Meghan is engaging male gaze that they should have a women like her who is physically sexy. An example of how Meghan is reinforcing stereotype is the way she is showing her body figure which suggests she is naked to show off how slim and confident she is. The three news items i have picked prince Charles and Joe hart, interest of petrol because these two are most popular and have a working class background. 2. i choose prince Charles as he is someone that has a high background and is well known by the target audience. Eastenders 1. Shirley is the character that is the main stereotype and is being presented as violent and aggressive. In this video the character Shirley is the dominant stereotype in this video as she is over exaggerating and acting physically aggressive. Shirley is pulling the girl back against the wall and the people around her are watching. It is likely showing white people are arguing in a pub and this detonates that she is typical women. The common characteristics of this stereotypes in this video are where the women is pulling the girls hair and pushing her against the wall. 2.
